Original Item. Only One Available. This is an interesting Belgian Pre-WWI shako likely for wear by an Officer of the Belgian Army. The shako has a bullion chinstrap and a velvet-backed cockade with a symbol of a Crown over a Diamond shaped symbol. The front visor is in good condition and is still well-attached.
The kepi is a bit misshapen but should look great with a mannequin head to give it shape. The interior retains the sweatband although there is some loss of material as shown. The interior is stamped with the size, 59, and the maker’s information:
