Original British WWII British Royal Army General Officer’s Peaked Field Visor by Walter Barnard & Son of London

Original Item. Only One Available. Here we have a lovely British Army Officer's Field Peaked Visor Cap, intended for a General, Lieutenant General, or Major General. It has the correct sword between laurels under a crown & lion. Dating from WWII, the size is roughly a 6¾.

The front has the correct Lion over a Queens's Crown over a wreathed sword embroidered bullion badge with red felt for the crown. The interior features a sweatband reading Real Roan Leather. There is a maker’s label in the crown reading:
