The Story

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very scarce Canadian 1943 pattern long branch training rifle dated 1943. These non guns were built in Long Branch, Canada and were a Canadian version of the British Swift Trainer. Reference see "The Lee Enfield" The final edition by Ian Skennerton page 314. These were built to have the equivalent weight as the No 4 (8.5 lbs) and had a safety butt plate

As per the above reference there were only 3788 of these trainers built by the end of WWII. A neat item for any Lee Enfield or Canadian collection. It measures 44½” long.
