Original Cold War Era Soviet Union Vladimir Lenin Socialist Double-Sided Flag with Heavy Wear - Circa 1980s - 36 x 54”

Original Item: Only One Available. . Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, better known as Vladimir Lenin, was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He served as the first and founding head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924. Under his administration, Russia, and later the Soviet Union, became a one-party socialist state governed by the Communist Party. Ideologically a Marxist, his developments to the ideology are called Leninism.

This is a lovely 1980s era Soviet flag with a large depiction of Lenin on one side and the state emblem on the other with text surrounding both. Due to the heavy wear, we are unable to translate the text, making for a good research project.

The flag measures roughly 36 x 54” not including the fringe, which is very well-retained. The flag has heavy creasing and wear, a very nice example overall.
