Original English 19th Century Crown Police Brass Truncheon with Ebony Handle

Original Item: Only One Available. Very seldom do we ever see anything like this. Original Brass Police Truncheon retaining its original Ebony wood type handle. Has a lovely brass truncheon shaft which is surmounted with a substantial brass crown. Making this a fearsome club that would enforce the law in any circumstances. The crown unscrews to reveal a channel to store something.

Dating from the late 19th century, the Victorian era. The Truncheon measures 10 7/8" overall. This has just come out of a very old collection and retains the remains of many years of Brass Polish in the cracks. In wonderful Collectors Condition, ready for display.
