Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a gorgeous late 17th century folding knife, likely British or French based on the lovely silver-mounting.
The 4¾” blade has no markings other than a single small circle. The handle appears to be silver-mounted brass with some of the silver having worn away from the bottom as shown, and some small pieces are now jagged.
The overall length when open is 10⅛”, and 5⅜” closed. The silver mounting have beautiful floral designs and motifs.
An outstanding piece from the late 17th century, ready for further research and display.
