Original German WWI Imperial German Saxon Officer Brocade Belt

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWI Imperial German Saxon Officer brocade belt. Although tarnished and mothed, the belt is in good, serviceable condition!

The belt has a beautifully toned metal brocade with silver like stripes. There is very minor wear to the obverse. The reverse is lined in blue badge cloth which has some heavy moth nips present as shown, with some of the under material visible. The belt retains the slides and the keeper. The tongue is present but heavily worn and torn. The buckle is heavy nonmetallic metal and gilt finished, but the gilt is heavily worn away. The Saxon roundel is separately applied. Total length is 45 1/4”.
