Original German WWI Infantry M1915 Canteen with Corduroy Cover & Cup Dated 1918 - Feldflasche

Original Item: Only One Available. This is an original WW1 German Model 1915 infantry canteen in good condition with an original corduroy cover and cup. The steel clasp strap has broken off of the canteen, but otherwise there is just staining and oxidation. Earlier models came with a shoulder strap but this model did not, only with a steel clasp.

- The inside metal is steel, it has a curved shape and has some dents, but we cannot remove the corduroy cover due to oxidation, so we cannot inspect it.

- The brown corduroy is in good condition with staining and oxidation damage.

- The cork is also in good condition, its still soft, but the stopper cap has broken away from the strap.

- The steel clasp is frozen and broken off.

- The enamel canteen is faintly marked on the bottom with a 1918 date.

Overall a really nice condition genuine Great War German Infantry Canteen that would have seen time in the trenches!
