Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely pair of black leather trousers, part of the black leather deck uniform in a variant pattern as worn by lower ranked Kriegsmarine personnel. These would be used with a similar colored leather deck jacket, designed to protect the wearer from the elements.
The trousers are of fine black leather with two slash pockets. The integral tightening belt is retained and in good order but there is some stitching repair done to the trousers under where the belt is. The buttons along the waist are all marked SOLIDE ELEGANT. The front closure buttons are smaller and one is missing. The front has a button fly with a metal hook at the top.
There is a small leather tab on the interior with an Eagle / M Marineamt inspection marking over the year of manufacture, 1940.
A very nice pair of trousers with a good 1940 date, ready for further research and display.
Approximate Measurements:
Waist: 20.5"
Inseam: 32"
