Original German WWII 98k K98k Rifle Cleaning Kit with Period-Applied Tri-Color Helmet Decal - Dated 1940

Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a well-worn example of a German Reinigungsgerät 34 (cleaning device 34) Rifle cleaning kit, first introduced in 1934. Consisting of a light steel can with hinged lid top and bottom, a chain pull-through, two styles of bore brushes, an oiler and a cleaning tool for the receiver. A must for completing any German WWII rifle.

This example is likely missing a piece or two. This example is marked on one lid with the logo of HAWIG next to 1940. The side of the case has a period-applied Tri-Color decal which is heavily worn but absolutely original.
