Original German WWII Artillery Rm.-F 12 x 60 Flak Binoculars by Carl Zeiss

Original Item: Only One Set Available. This is a very nice condition German World War Two Carl Zeiss 12x60 binoculars. These were designed to be used in conjunction with a 4 meter long range finder for directing heavy Flak guns.

At the start of WWII, Germany wanted to keep the makers of its military equipment secret and assigned each company with a letter code. blc was assigned to the Carl Zeiss of Jena Company.

The Binoculars retain the original data plate that reads:

The serial number can no longer be read on the bottom due to the paint loss. The set retains the original canvas strap that attaches to the top with the spring-loaded securing tab. Individually adjustable eyepieces are fitted with an inverted "V" reticle on the right optic. The optics themselves are still discernable, but there is very heavy clouding, so they will require adjustment. The binoculars retain some of the original dunkelgelb (tan) paint and are in overall very good condition.
