Original German WWII Award and Tinnie Grouping in Custom Luftwaffe Wooden Case - 8 Items

Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a very nice collection of German WWII Awards and Tinnies, which was brought back from the European theater by a USGI after the war was concluded. Many solders traded these on the way back, and would end up with a pocket full of various different collectible items, and this set represents the typical "haul" one might have come back with. This small collection is notable because it is contained in a small wooden box measuring 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" with a sliding lid, which is decorated on one side by a Luftwaffe Eagle, and on the other side by a German WWII Wound badge.

This lovely set includes:

- One German WWII RLB Luftschutz Air Defense Honor Medal 2nd Grade. Medal is in good condition, though it is missing the top ring and ribbon

- One Small German WWII Pioneer Standard Flag Pin. Made from plastic, these were used to show support for specific types of units.

- One German WWII German WWII 2nd Class 25 Year Civil Service Faithful Service Medal. The medal is in very good shape, though for some reason it has had a ribbon for the War Merit Medal attached to the ring and sewn together.

- One German Pre-WWII Soldatenbund Aluminum Cap Eagle Insignia. The Soldatenbund (Registered Soldier’s League) was an early Veteran's association founded in 1936, which proved to be very short lived. The insignia features a Reichsadler National Eagle surmounted by crossed swords and an Iron Cross

- One German WWII RAD Labor Corps Women's Brooch.

- One TAG DER ARBEIT Tinnie, dated 1935. These were for the annual labor day celebration in NSDAP Germany.

- One German WWII National Socialist State Veterans Association Visor Cap Badge

- One German WWII Era Gau Düsseldorf 1936 Day of National Solidarity Pin.
