The Story

Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is an interesting lot of plane parts which supposedly came off of a German Dornier Do 217 which crashed in Kent, England during the war. The group comes with a printed magazine article about this exact Dornier which crashed
The 12½ x 17½” particleboard has six different pieces recovered from the wreck, five of which are plane parts and one of which is a shell. The board notes that the Dornier crashed on January 17th, 1943 in Westerham, Kent.
The set comes with a box of parts having come from a Messerschmitt Me-110 and a U.S. P-47 Thunderbolt, including a long piece of stainless steel skinning and gas cap from the P-47, and some interesting joint pieces from the Messerschmitt.
A tremendous collector’s lot of aircraft parts, ready for further research and display.
