Original Item. Only One Available. This is an extremely scarce German “Last Ditch” grenade, the second we have ever offered. It was only produced in the latter stages of the Second World War. As munitions and materials became harder and harder to find, the Germans had to improvise and use whatever was available.
Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or drilled in an BATF-approved manner so that they cannot be used as ammunition components for destructive devices, are NOT considered NFA weapons. This example is in total compliance and is totally inert. NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT.
The grenade is in great shape with heavy wear to the finish. The original fuze retains its wings, and is stamped on the blue ball fen / 4 for (likely) 1944 manufacture by Paul Liebner of Luckenwalde.
A fantastic example, ready for further research and display.
