Original German WWII M39 Egg Grenade Case with Original Internal Rack and 30 Replica Grenades

This is a very rare original German World War Two egg grenade carry case, complete with an added internal rack for transporting 30 German Type Model 39 Egg Hand Grenade Eierhandgranate 39. The set has been completed with an original replacement internal rack and 30 replica M39 egg grenades.

The case is offered in good solid condition, but there are condition issues. The wood carry handle shows extreme wear and damage with material loss. The case does retain the original paint, but the original internal rack was gone, so another example was added, although it does not fit perfectly and sits at a slant. Some of the paint is missing, which has also removed the stenciled markings on the outside. 

The internal rack offered in rough overall condition with original intact carry handle and functional hinges. The rack shows heavy pitting and minor material loss from rust and wear but overall it is solid.

Also included are 30 reproduction M39 Egg grenades with fuses, considered by most to be the very best on the market. The 30 grenades are a $750 value just by themselves! The fuses of the grenades were originally carried in boxes mounted on the top of the rack.
