Original German WWII Mess Kit Utensil Set Dated 1941 - Steel and Stainless Steel

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely service used set of genuine WWII German Mess Kit Utensils - Knife, Fork, Spoon, and Can Opener. These lock together, making a perfect set for any WWII collector. Originally these were often issued in a felt case, however these are offered without one.

This set is mostly matched, and all parts have the correct Reichsadler eagle on the handle, indicating military issue. The can opener, fork, and spoon are all marked with [GAG] 41, a known maker of WWII cutlery, while the knife is marked ROSTFREI. All of the items are stainless steel and are in great shape with some scratching but nothing terribly serious.

All components are in service-used condition. showing some real wear from service, without any serious oxidation. This is a great set and typical of what soldiers would have been outfitted during the mid war period, when supplies were still relatively good.
