Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very interesting original German WWII Mid-War Style National Socialist Party Armband, brought home by a U.S. soldier after the war. The National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the NSDAP Party, was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) before the name was changed in 1920.
The party's last leader, Adolf H, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.
This standard NSDAP Ärmelbinde (Armband) was worn by party members, and was also worn by many service members and other personnel during the war. It is in very good condition, showing light wear and staining from service. It has some tack stitches on the edges, indicating it was definitely attached to a uniform at one time. It is a bit crumpled up, and could definitely use some pressing. It measures approximately 14" x 3 1/2", and is machine sewn together in the back with aqua thread. It is definitely one of the rarer types, with a red band that has the insignia BeVo machine embroidered directly onto the band with white and black thread.
A rare BeVO embroidered NSDAP armband, ready to add to your collection!
