Original Items: Only One Available. This is a very nice unissued condition SS Tropical M41 Overseas Cap Skull Insignia, which depicts a beautiful BeVo woven Totenkopf (Death's Head) on a black rayon background. The skull has a slight tan / gold color which is an indication that it is for the tropical cap. The details throughout the skull are extraordinary, with the sutures in the skull and the teeth fully visible. We have compared it with other period examples, and the stitch pattern is an exact match. The insignia has definitely never been installed on a uniform, and still has the factory rayon roll background, and we can see no stitch marks at all. Measures approximately 1 1/2"W x 1 7/8"H.
