Original Item. Only One Available. This is a charming and gorgeous small candy dish made in the shape of an Imperial German soldier during the Pre-WWI period. He wears his “Dunkelblau” uniform and Feldmutze. The mutze itself is actually the lid. The soldier has a very comedic look, and this would be a fantastic display piece for any German collection.
The dish with the lid measures 4 ¼” tall and the base is roughly 2¾” in diameter. The bottom is painted 42, and the inside of the lid is also painted 42. The number 1610 is inscribed in the bottom as well.
A gorgeous display piece with great retained paint, ready for further research and display!
