Original Imperial German WWI Frenglas 08 Binoculars by Emil Busch A.G. in Ersatz Carrying Case

Original Item: Only one available. This is a nice pair of German Fernglas 08 binoculars, nicely marked on the carrying case belt loops by Emil Busch A.G. They are marked with serial number Nr 94634 on the hinge tension nut along with Fernglas 08. These field glasses come complete with the Ersatz carrying case.

The optics are in excellent totally clear condition with working focus adjustments on both sides. The paint on the binoculars themselves is very well-retained without many issues to speak of. The case shows age and some dryness but overall in very good condition, but the retaining straps are gone, and there is an interesting leather strap attached as a makeshift carrying strap. It looks the period.

A nice set with a scarce Ersatz case. Ready to display!
