Original Imperial German WWI Frenglas 08 Binoculars by Emil Busch A.G. in Ersatz Carrying Case with Extremely Scarce Papercloth Carrying Strap

Original Item: Only one available. This is a gorgeous pair of German Fernglas 08 binoculars, nicely marked on the carrying case belt loops by Emil Busch A.G. They are marked with serial number Nr 94664 on the hinge tension nut along with Fernglas 08. These field glasses come complete with an extremely scarce original papercloth ersatz neck strap as well as the Ersatz carrying case.

The optics are in excellent totally clear condition with working focus adjustments on both sides. The paint on the binoculars themselves is very well-retained without many issues to speak of. The case shows age and some dryness but overall in very good condition, and the retaining straps on the sides are intact as well.

A nice set with a scarce Ersatz neck strap and case. This is the first papercloth neck strap we’ve ever seen! Ready to display!
