Original Imperial German WWI M1907 Feldmütze Field Cap with Prussia Cockade

Original Item: Only one available. This is a heavily service-worn Great War Imperial German Field Cap (Feldmütze or Krätzche). It is constructed of grey/green "Felgrau" wool with red cap band and red piping along with an interior linen lining. The front of the cap bears a Black, White and Red Reichskokarde (Imperial Cockade) on the front of the crown, with a White and Black cockade for Prussia.

The cap is in very worn service-used condition, with heavy moth damage to the exterior red hat band. There is some slight discoloration, but it still presents well, a real “been there” example. The interior lining is in very good shape, with no markings left that we can see. 

Size is approximately US 7 (56cm). A rough but certainly genuine example!
