Original Item: Only One Available. This is a fantastic condition IJA winter rabbit fur coat with internal quilting. The parka features Kanji ink stamps to the interior, rabbit fur lined sleeves, quilted body and fur trimmed cuffs and neck. Sleeves are removable via bakelite buttons. Features a double breasted front with six large bakelite buttons.
The jacket retains the majority of its fur, and the kanji stamps are very clear. They appear to show a manufacture date of Showa 16, or 1940. The parka is in great condition but much of the fur is coming off.
A very nice Japanese parka, ready for further research and display.
