Original Imperial Japanese Army WWII Type 90 Civil Defense Helmet With Naval Shipbuilding Worker Badge - Complete

Original Item: Only One Available. This is an extremely rare Type 90 Civil defense helmet, complete with an intact cloth liner and chin strap. The Japanese WWII Civil Defense helmet was the final of four variations of the Type 90 Army helmet and was designed specifically for mainland civil defense. This example has a period-attached badge for the Naval Shipbuilding Workers, a rare variation to see.

Overall condition is very good with correct brown paint, with some overall oxidation on the exterior.. There is some overall scuffing, but no dents or any major damage. There are several Kanji markings on the rear skirt and on the liner, a good research project.

This is an excellent opportunity to pick up a WWII issue Naval Shipbuilder helmet, a necessity for any Japanese WWII headgear collection.
