Original Imperial Japanese Army WWII Type 90 Civil Defense Helmet with Star & Liner

Original Item: Only One Available. This is an extremely rare Type 90 Civil defense helmet, complete with an intact cloth liner. The Japanese WWII Civil Defense helmet was the final of four variations of the Type 90 Army helmet and was designed specifically for mainland civil defense.

Overall condition is very good with correct brown paint, with some overall oxidation on the exterior. The front has a star applied but it appears to be a lower quality star than the ones you see on normal Type 90 helmets, with a green paint job. There is some overall scuffing, but no dents or any major damage. There is no Kangi painted.

The liner is missing one of its pins but is in overall good shape with the delicate braided hair straps in good order. 

This is an excellent opportunity to pick up a WWII issue type 90 civil defense helmet, a necessity for any Japanese WWII headgear collection.
