Original Imperial Japanese WWII Army Air Service Winter Fur-Lined Flight Helmet & Goggles with Pilot Scarf

Original Item: Only One Available. Made of a soft tan leather, this helmet is in very good supple condition. It is constructed of multiple separate pieces of leather, with a 5 pointed Japanese Army Star on the front. The ear cups are complete, and made of hardened leather, each having holes in the center for mounting the communication equipment and receivers, but the holes now have wool pads inserted.

All straps of the flying helmet are fully functional, all the buckles and tabs work perfectly. The helmet features a seemingly hand-stitched lining which has some heavy wear. There are no tags we could find. Overall condition is very good, but does show signs of use and age. This is a true combat fighter pilot's flight helmet!

Included with the helmet is a set of original Japanese fur-lined pilot’s goggles which are attached to the helmet and are in great overall condition. Also included is an interesting pilot’s scarf, which is unmarked.

It is not marked that we could find but it’s likely a size medium. Comes ready for further research and display.
