Original Imperial Japanese WWII IJA Imperial Japanese Army Wire Cutters - Marked Handle

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice pair of Japanese IJA wire cutters with detachable handles. The wire cutters measure 18 inches overall, with removable 9 1/2 inch hard wood handles. The metal portions are painted the standard Japanese ordnance tan. One of the handle retains several Kanji markings, possibly a date or maker marking. Both handles are certainly original and one of the two has the metal fittings with a hole at the bottom. 

There is a small piece of wire holding the central rivet in place now. There is no pouch included with this set.
