Original Imperial Japanese WWII Lieutenant Braided Shoulder Boards in Original Box & Paper

Original Items. Only One Set Available. This is a gorgeous set of Imperial Japanese Army shoulder boards in the gorgeous braided gold style, each bearing two stars. From our research, this would denote a Lieutenant (as opposed to 2nd Lieutenant which would be one star).

The shoulder boards come in their original thin paper wrappers in the original small wooden box. The box measures 4⅛ x 6⅛ x 1½”. The boards themselves measure 5⅜ x 1⅝” and have a single smooth button at the ends. They have a metal bracket on the back for attachment. There are no markings on the boards we could find.
