Original Italian WWII Engineer Tenente Colonnello’s Uniform Set with Tunic, Shirt & Trousers - Ribbon Bar

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely Italian officer’s uniform for a Tenente Colonnello serving with the Engineers as is denoted by his black red/purple-piped gorget patches. The cuffs have great brocade tape officer’s ranks for the rank of Tenente Colonnello, or Lieutenant Colonel. 

The interior shows good period wear with great stitch-patterning. The tunic has a good collar tag for Unione Militare. The tunic has a great sewn-in three-place ribbon bar with the Italian Order of the Crown (Knight), the Expedition to Albania Campaign Medal, and a third ribbon with yellow and orange with a FERT sword device attached, a good research project!

The shirt is in good shape and is a pullover, with a button-down collar. There is a maker’s tag for Ve De Me of Milano, with another small stitched tag with the initials CC, likely those of the officer. The included trousers are in fantastic condition without any markings we could find.
