The Story

Original Item. Only One Available. This is an interesting WWII Italian “Table medal” which depicts a soldier’s face on one side with CREDERE OBBEDIRE COMBATTERE INCERE, which translates to 'To believe, to obey, to fight - to win'.

The back of the medal features an Italian War helmet with two bayonets in front of it, with the text "FELD GRAUE" & "BERLIN MÜNCHEN WIEN" & "ITALIE NISCHE KÜNSTLER STELLEN AUS" & "1942-1943" translating to 'Field Grey' and 'Berlin, Munich, Vienna' and 'Italian artists exhibit'. The medal was designed by F. Gianone. The medal measures roughly 2” in diameter and retains nearly all of its green paint.
