Original Japanese WWII 25mm 3.5 x 20° Anti-Aircraft Gun Sight Set in Matching Transit Case - Serial No. 2061 - Dated March 1944

Original Items. One-of-a-Kind Set. This is a scarce set to find complete, the Japanese 25mm Anti-Aircraft gun sight. This set consists of a right and a left optic, both of which are present in their original matching transit case, with all pieces being marked with serial number 2061.

The optics are both marked with the logo of TOKO, the maker, over 3.5 X 20° / NO. 2061 followed by the character for right and left. Both optics are still clear but foggy, and one of the two rubberized covers for the objective lenses is heavily cracking as shown. The adjusters look to be in working condition.

The transit case measures 9 x 7 ½ x 4 ¾” and is in great shape, with an original data label showing a date with 19 3 for the 3rd month (March) of the 19th year of the Showa Era (1944). The case retains its original carry rope, rare to see, and both securing pieces still work, although one of the screws that they latch onto looks replaced.

A very scarce set in any condition, ready for further research and display!
