The Story

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely lot of two inert demilitarized genuine Japanese Grenades . These examples are offered in good condition, but are missing some parts.

The grenade is totally inert and unable to be rendered live again. It is in complete compliance per the BATF guidelines on inert ordnance. Not Available For Export.

The first grenade is a Type 99 Hand Grenade. This example is offered in good condition complete with fuse and original top cap, but is missing the safety pin & string. The detonator tube is also missing. The bottom side of the fuse is visibly dated with 9 七十昭. This marking is written right to left, and would be read: SHOWA (current reigning emperor) Juu-Nana (17th year of reign - 1942) 9th month (September).

The second grenade is a Type 91 Hand Grenade with Booster, but the fuse and top cap are entirely absent. There is still some of the correct red paint on the top. As the fuse is missing, we are unable to date it.
