The lot includes:
- Order of the Golden Kite 7th Class, no case. The Order of the Golden Kite was an exclusively military award, conferred for bravery, leadership or command in battle. It ranked just below the Order of the Chrysanthemum in precedence and was the military equivalent of the Order of the Paulownia Flowers. It could be considered analogous to the Prussian Order of the Red Eagle (with swords).
- Order of the Sacred Treasure 6th Class with case. The Order of the Sacred Treasure (çå®ç« , ZuihÅ-shÅ) is a Japanese order, established on 4 January 1888 by Emperor Meiji as the Order of Meiji. Originally awarded in eight classes (from 8th to 1st, in ascending order of importance), since 2003 it has been awarded in six classes, the lowest two medals being abolished that year. Originally a male-only decoration, the order has been made available to women since 1919.
- Manchurian Incident Medal in case. The Japanese Manchurian Incident Medal was established on July 23, 1934, by the Imperial Japanese government to commemorate the military campaign carried out between 1931 and 1934 in Manchuria following the Mukden Incident. This event, which occurred on September 18, 1931, was an attack orchestrated by Japanese officers on the South Manchurian Railway, used as a pretext to justify the Kwantung Army's invasion of the region. The resulting occupation led to the creation of the puppet state of Manchukuo in 1932, consolidating the Japanese presence in northeast China.
- 1914-1920 First World War Medal in case with broken lid. The 1914-20 First World War Medal is a Japanese medal established on November 6, 1915 by Imperial Edict No. 203 to commemorate Japanese participation in World War I. The medal was issued to naval personnel who served in the Japanese fleet in the Mediterranean during the Great War and to the military participating in the Japanese expedition to Siberia from 1918 to 1922 aimed at the Soviet Bolsheviks during the Russian Civil War that followed the October 1917 revolution.
- Order of the Rising Sun 7th Class in case. The Order of the Rising Sun (ææ¥ç« , Kyokujitsu-shÅ) is a Japanese order, established in 1875 by Emperor Meiji. The Order was the first national decoration awarded by the Japanese government, created on 10 April 1875 by decree of the Council of State.
