Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very good condition Japanese WWII issue medium weight wool Naval Officer’s forage cap. Features the classic four eyelet string closure to the back and a yellow embroidered Officer’s star on black fabric to the front, although the string on the back is absent. There is also a decorative leather chin strap across the front, as is standard, with two vent eyelets per side.
The interior crown does not bear any Kanji ink stamps, only the number 2, likely the size The oilcloth sweatband is retained but worn. Quality items of this kind are very rarely encountered. Comes ready for further research and display.
