Original Japanese WWII Pilot’s Gloves with Clear Markings - Dated 1943

Original Item. Only One Available. This is an extraordinarily scarce set of Japanese pilot’s gloves, constructed of leather with cloth wrist-covers. These are a very difficult model of glove to find, especially matching with clear markings.

Both gloves bear a marking on the interior for SHOWA 18, for the 18th year of reign - 1943. Both gloves retain their leather strap which allows the gloves to be tightened around the wrist. There are other markings within both gloves, making for a good research project. 

The leather of the gloves is still quite pliable, and there isn’t very much damage at all besides some light moth tracking on the wool sections of the gloves. A very difficult set to find, ready for further research and display!
