Original Japanese WWII Rare Rubberized Canvas Case for the Type 99 2.5 x 10 Sniper Scope - No Scope Included

Original Item. Only One Available. This is an extremely scarce example of a Japanese rubberized canvas case which once held a sniper scope utilized on the Type 97 & Type 99 Arisaka rifles. This example retains the securing strap and canvas carrying strap, but there is no scope included in this case. This is a great opportunity to house your scope!

The rubberized canvas is very stiff, but the lid still opens and closes without issue. The case measures 9¼ x 3 x 2¼” and is missing much of the original paint.

It also retains the wooden insert and the small piece of leather stitched at the top, although it is weak.
