Original Japanese WWII Rare Rubberized Canvas Case for the Type 99 4 x 7 Sniper Scope - No Scope Included

Original Item. Only One Available. This is an extremely scarce example of a Japanese rubberized canvas case which once held a 4 power sniper scope utilized on the Type 99 Arisaka rifles. This example retains the securing strap and canvas carrying strap, but there is no scope included in this case. This is a great opportunity to house your scope!

The rubberized canvas is very stiff, but the lid still opens and closes without issue, as the hinge is made from leather. The case measures 10¼ x 3¾ x 2¾” and is missing much of the original paint.

It also retains the velvet inserts, rare to see. A great case for your 4 power sniper scope, ready for display.
