The badge depicts the hammer and sickle in the centre, with the text 'отпичный разведчик', translating to 'Excellent Scout'. It also features a rifle crossed with a sword, and a pair of Binoculars for distinction.

This example has some minor loss to the red enamel with light wear across the badge. The backing is well-retained and is maker-marked.
