$22.50The Story
Original Item. Only One Available. This is a gorgeous powder flask with a plain finish, manufactured during the Civil War period. This is a very scarce maker of powder flasks, and this one is in great shape with a still-functional spout.
The overall length is approximately 7 7/8 inches. The spout still functions but the cover which allows for the pouring of a specific amount of powder is missing the tab, and the cover is broken. The spring in the release still works fine.
The edges of the flask show great period seam repairs, meaning this example likely saw pre-Civil War service and then saw more use afterwards. Comes ready for further research and display.
