Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a lovely pair of signed prints framed together, “Type VII C” and “U.S.S. Harder” by Michael Wooten. Type VII C is numbered 168/800, and U.S.S. Harder is numbered 393/1000.
Type VII C is a print of the Type VII C U-Boat, with the signatures of ten U-Boat commanders including Karl Fredrich Merten, Alfred Eick, Kurt Baberg, Heinrich Schroeteler, Gerhard Thater, Otto Kretschmer, Hans Georg Hess, Carl Emmermann, Otto Westphalen, and Erich Topp. Each commander listed their u-boat number as well.
U.S.S. Harder is a print of the submarine of the same name, signed by five Submarine Commanders, four of which were awarded the Medal of Honor. They include Commander Lawson P. Ramage, Commander George L. Street III, Commander Chester W. Nimitz, Jr., Commander Richard H. O’Kane, and Commander Eugene B. Fluckey.
Both of the prints come with their original numbered certificates of authenticity.
