Original U.S. Indian Wars Bugle with Red Artillery Cord by Lyon & Healy of Chicago

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a really great example of an Indian Wars era bugle manufactured by the firm Lyon & Healy of Chicago, Illinois. This was a well-known firm that produced bugles during the Civil War, Indian Wars, and beyond. The company is still active today as Lyon & Healy Harps. 

The bugle still retains a period red scarlett “Artillery” cord denoting the branch of service. There is fraying and material loss on the knots, but the cord is in great shape overall. The bugle is marked:
