The Story

Original Items: One-of-a-kind. These are classic cowboy spurs that have been well used and worn. We believe they date from the 1870s based on the construction and style. The spurs are constructed of iron with hand-wrought rivets holding them together.

The spurs have gorgeous 10-point rowels which are still in good shape, measuring roughly 3¾” in diameter. They also retain the small hanging pieces which cause the sound to be heard. Each spur retains a small leather strap on one side with an attached buckle, but one of these two straps has heavy cracking and tearing, and may come off soon if not addressed. Both spurs retain their original chains, hard to find on these early spurs!

This is a fantastic set of “Wild West” spurs in period-worn condition, with a patina that cannot be replicated! Comes ready for further research and display!
