The Story

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice US Vietnam War Combat Vehicle Crewman (CVC) Helmet model T56-6. These Helmets were worn by crewmen aboard Tanks and other Combat Vehicles. The Helmet comes complete with headphones built in and adjustable microphone, which are attached to the correct ISC Telephonics Model SA-1552/G Transceiver mounted on the left side of the helmet. This example was painted with a gorgeous zebra black & white striped pattern which has held up very well.

The interior of the helmet is named to FLEMING. We were not able to find any information about this man due to lack of extra information.

The helmet is in good shape, with an intact ballistic nylon main body correctly painted OD Green. The helmet is a bit dirty, especially on the inside. Also the foam rubber behind the earphones has become hard brittle.

A very nice example of a named Vietnam War era Combat Vehicle helmet, ready to display!
