$58.50The Story
Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very large and oxidized metal canteen dating to approximately the late 19th century. It measures roughly 9 ¼” in diameter and is 3 ⅛” wide, with the spout measuring 1 ⅛” tall with an old wooden cork inserted.
The canteen has two iron loops soldered on for attachment to a horse, likely. The spout is poorly soldered and has holes along the edge. The side of the canteen is painted blue, and the other side once had blue but is now almost entirely oxidized.
A very interesting canteen void of any markings, a good homemade piece from the Old West. Ready for display.
