Original U.S. Post-WWII Era 25mm Marine Signal Flare Launcher Pistol by Olin of East Alton Illinois

Original Item. Only One Available. This flare pistol appears to be made of cast iron and it is finished in a very glossy blank enamel or epoxy, except for the cocking piece which is green. This example is marked for Marine Signal use only, and is of the Post-WWII era.

The pistol is marked on one side of the grip:

And on the other side: U.S. PAT. NO. 3168788. The pistol still correctly dry fires, with the breech being opened by the latch on top. A good example, ready for further research and display.
