Original U.S. Revolutionary War Era “Two-Tone” Powder Horn with Threaded Flat Plug

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a gorgeous example of an Early American powder horn in a lovely “two-tone” color, which was achieved by grinding down parts of the horn to reveal the darker color. The horn measures roughly 9” long and has a lovely threaded flat plug in the wooden bottom.

The wooden bottom still retains the period nails holding it in place. This is a gorgeous period horn with a lovely grind pattern.

A very nice horn from Early America. Ready for further research and display.
