Original U.S. Vietnam War Era Inert Lot of 6 20mm XM254 Training Dummy Rounds on Links - Dated 1975

Original Item. Only One Available. The XM254 dummy cartridges were used in military crew training to reduce wear on component and firing mechanisms; used with the following 20mm guns: M39, M61, M139, M168, M195 and XM197. Like all deactivated ordnance, these rounds are Not Available for Export.

This is a lovely lot of 6 20mm XM254 rounds on attached links. Each round retains the same marking:

This would date the rounds to 1975. This is a great set to hang on the wall from their integral circular loops. One of the links is marked:
