The Story

Original Item. Only One Available. These "cheek pads" were used by snipers for help with control during long stand offs. Quickly adapted by general infantry and pretty much anyone that could get their hands on one, used all the way into the Vietnam era.

This is a great 1962-dated example of a Cheek pad used with the M1-D and M1-C sniper rifle. It is marked MRT / 11-62 and is in good overall condition, still retaining the leather thong in-between the grommets. They have some verdigris as shown.

A great original pad, ready for further research and display.
