Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a great lot of original Vietnam War propaganda leaflets dropped on Vietnamese soldiers during the war. They come in their original folders, some of them with their original psy-op descriptions. There are five in total.
They include:
- Two small leaflets showing an NVA soldier sitting with his rifle and pondering about the Recall Policy of the Republic of Vietnam, and how he would be treated, etc. They were pasted to an 8 x 10½” page with a faded American eagle. This one does not have a description.
- Larger leaflet depicting men with his family vs him dead in the jungle, with description on the back of the sleeve, reading “Take your choice… This way or this way”.
- Two leaflets in one sleeve, one with 1st Division insignia with description on back which describes that American soldiers are here to help and to tell soldiers about locations of VC mines and weapon caches, etc.
- Two leaflets, one showing a destroyed bus with text on back talking about how it was blown up by Vietnamese mines and killed 35 people. Second leaflet shows a child soldier. No description.
- The last one has no leaflet and is just the description on the back. Discusses how communist leaders in NVN are willing to go on fighting despite getting to see their families, not having to live in the jungle like vietcong soldiers.
This is a great lot of government psy-op information, ready for further research and display.
