Original Items: Only One Lot of 11 Available. This is a very nice assortment of WWI Army and Navy insignia. The lot consists of 6 Rank insignia, one Discharge chevron, and 4 Unit Shoulder Sleeve Insignia.
The Chevrons in this lot:
- One Infantry Private First Class rate in Khaki.
- Two Field Artillery Private First Class rates.
- Two Signal Corps Private First Class rates.
- One Navy Store Keeper First Class rate with lovely cross-stitching.
- One Army red Honorable Discharge chevron.
The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia In This Lot:
- WWI 3rd Army with bullion A, the blue backing is heavily worn and frayed with material loss, a very worn example.
- WWI 26th “Yankee” Division with scattered moth nips.
- 90th Division on cloth backing with machine-stitched insignia.
- Reserve Mallet patch with cheesecloth backing indicative of Patch King reproductions from the 1940s-1950s.
All insignia are in good condition with the expected moth nips and wear present. Comes ready for further research and display.
